National Instruments C Series analog output modules provide high-performance signal generation for the NI CompactDAQ and CompactRIO platforms. Advanced features include ±30 V overvoltage protection and short-circuit protection, simultaneous 16-bit per-channel digital-to-analog converters (DACs), low crosstalk, fast slew rate, high relative accuracy, open-loop detection, and NIST-traceable calibration.
NI CompactDAQ devices can accommodate a maximum of 16 analog output channels. You can mix these channels with analog input as well as digital I/O channels, but the number of analog output channels cannot exceed 16 in a single chassis. CompactRIO does not have this restriction.
