The National Instruments cFP-DI-304 is a 32 channel sinking digital input module, compatible with 24 VDC sourcing devices, that provides input protection to 30 VDC on all 32 channels. There is continuous channel-to-ground isolation for up to 250 Vrms protection. The NI cFP-DI-304 uses a common ground plane for all input channels. Each channel on the cFP-DI-304 includes hysteresis and internal current-limiting circuitry to prevent module damage when connected directly to a 24 VDC source. All 32 channels on the cFP-DI-304 feature LEDs that indicate the input state. The module feature an all channel update rate of 1 kHz; the overall data throughput depends on software loop speeds and network speeds.
