For a faster processor and a form, fit, and function replacement for the TPC-2006, consider the NI TPC-2106 touch panel computer. For improved contrast and luminance, consider the NI TPC-2106T touch panel computer with a TFT display.

The National Instruments TPC-2006 is a 5.7 in. touch panel computer that runs Windows CE on a 266 MHz ARM9 processor. Develop your control logic and human machine interface (HMI) in the NI LabVIEW environment and deploy control logic to rugged programmable automation controllers (PACs) including NI Compact FieldPoint and CompactRIO. Then deploy the HMI to the rugged Windows CE NI TPC-2006 using the LabVIEW Touch Panel Module. The LabVIEW shared variable provides communication to LabVIEW Real-Time PACs, and Modbus TCP/IP offers connectivity to third-party PLCs and PACs. LabVIEW includes built-in native TCP/IP and RS232 communication to deliver connectivity to other devices from the TPC-2006.

The TPC-2006 includes a NEMA4 and IP65-rated front panel for wash down or humid environments and is an ideal size for an embedded machine HMI or for a vehicle operator.
