The 34 mm NI ExpressCard-GPIB provides unmatched portability with industry-leading performance. An NI TNT ASIC makes the NI ExpressCard-GPIB a maximum-performance GPIB interface. The NI ExpressCard-GPIB offers sustained data transfer rates of up to 1.8 MB/s using the IEEE 488.1 standard handshake and implements the IEEE 488.1 high-speed handshake (HS488) for benchmarked data transfers at up to 7.2 MB/s. The NI ExpressCard-GPIB design is based on the NI GPIB-USB-HS, which is another effective solution for GPIB instrument control from laptops.
