With the National Instruments PXI-CardBus8310 kit, you control PXI and CompactPCI systems from your laptop computer through a fully transparent link. The PXI-CardBus8310 kit consists of a PCMCIA CardBus card in the laptop, connected via cabling to a PXI module in slot 1 of a PXI chassis. The PXI module implements a CardBus-to-PCI bridge so that you can use PXI modules as if they are PCI boards directly installed in your laptop. Factory Installation

Reduce your setup time with National Instruments installation services and get a system you can use out of the box. Factory installation services include:

  • Installation of all individual hardware and software components as well as full testing to eliminate conflicts
  • Custom documentation plus a custom restore and startup utility
  • 2-year warranty and calibration coverage

This service is only available for PXI, CompactRIO, and Compact FieldPoint systems.

Extended Warranties

National Instruments designs and manufactures all products to minimize failures, but we know unexpected failures can still occur. Extended warranties provide a fixed economical price at the time of system purchase covering any repair costs for up to three years.
