With the National Instruments PXI-CardBus8310 kit, you control PXI and CompactPCI systems from your laptop computer through a fully transparent link. The PXI-CardBus8310 kit consists of a PCMCIA CardBus card in the laptop, connected via cabling to a PXI module in slot 1 of a PXI chassis. The PXI module implements a CardBus-to-PCI bridge so that you can use PXI modules as if they are PCI boards directly installed in your laptop.
