NI Ultiboard software helps students learn about the layout process and industry practices by providing a flexible environment for PCB layout and routing. Students can retrieve designs from NI Multisim interactive SPICE-based simulation or begin from scratch using parts from the built-in Ultiboard database of land patterns. Ultiboard contains many time-saving features that can help students quickly learn and understand the PCB layout process. For example, using the spreadsheet view, students can drag and drop components into their intended locations on schematics. Then, using follow-me routing or by drawing traces, students can easily route all their design nets.
