The National Instruments PXI-8196 is a high-performance Pentium M 760-based embedded controller for use in PXI and CompactPCI systems. The new Pentium M architecture provides the highest mobile performance at clock rates lower than Mobile Pentium 4 processors. NI PXI-8196 performance is equivalent to that of a 3.0 GHz Pentium 4 system. It is ideal for applications requiring intensive analysis or PXI system development. A PXI-8196 embedded controller in a PXI chassis offers a compact, high-performance PC platform for modular instrument and data acquisition applications. Factory Installation

Reduce your setup time with National Instruments installation services and get a system you can use out of the box. Factory installation services include:

  • Installation of all individual hardware and software components as well as full testing to eliminate conflicts

This service is only available for PXI, CompactRIO, and Compact FieldPoint systems.

Extended Warranties

National Instruments designs and manufactures all products to minimize failures, but we know unexpected failures can still occur. Extended warranties provide a fixed economical price at the time of system purchase covering any repair costs for up to three years.
