Use the "Configure System" link above to configure an SCXI DAQ system based on this module.
The NI SCXI-1124 is a 6-channel isolated source for DC (low-bandwidth) voltage or current signals. It includes six independently isolated, 12-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) channels. You can configure each channel for voltage or current output. For voltage, choose any of the three unipolar or three bipolar ranges. For current, each channel outputs 0 to 20 mA. The software-configurable SCXI-1124 features an onboard EEPROM for storing calibration constants. It is ideal for applications requiring isolated voltage or current outputs to control a process. For more channels, you can use several SCXI-1124 modules in an SCXI system along with other signal conditioning I/O modules. The module is controlled digitally over the SCXIbus, so a single data acquisition device can control several SCXI-1124 modules.
An SCXI chassis is required to house the SCXI modules. The NI SCXI-1000 chassis can hold up to four modules while the NI SCXI-1001 can hold up to 12. You can choose NI X Series, M Series, E Series, or S Series DAQ modules for controlling the chassis.

National Instruments designs and manufactures all products to minimize failures, however unexpected failures can still occur. Extended warranties provide a fixed economical price at the time of system purchase, covering any repair costs for up to three years. In addition, they offer the following benefits:
Significant cost savings compared to individual repair incidents
Fault location, diagnostics, and repair by NI any time the system product fails
All parts and labor costs covered as well as any adjustments needed to restore the hardware to manufacturing specifications
NI recognizes the need to maintain properly calibrated devices for high-accuracy measurements. NI provides manual calibration procedures, services to recalibrate your products, and automated calibration software to calibrate many NI measurement products.
Return your registered product under warranty at no additional labor and parts cost. NI offers fault location, diagnostics, and repair any time the system fails as well as any adjustments needed to restore the hardware to manufacturing specifications.
