Use the SCXI Advisor to configure an SCXI data acquisition (DAQ)system based on this module.
The National Instruments SCXI-1102 and SCXI-1112 are designed for high-accuracy thermocouple measurements. They share a common architecture where each input channel includes an instrumentation amplifier and a 2 Hz lowpass filter. With this architecture, you can scan the NI SCXI-1102 or SCXI-1112 analog input channels along with the input channels of other modules at rates up to 333 kS/s (3 µs per channel). You can also scan the cold-junction compensation sensor along with other input channels. The SCXI-1102 also can acquire millivolt, volt, 0 to 20 mA, and 4 to 20 mA current input signals. Each module can multiplex its channels into a single DAQ device channel, and you can add modules to increase channel count.
You can use the SCXI-1600USB DAQ device with this module to create a completely plug-and-play USB DAQ system. An SCXI chassis is required to house the SCXI-1600 and assorted SCXI modules for a particular system. The SCXI-1000 chassis holds up to four modules while the SCXI-1001 holds up to 12.
You can use the SCXI-1102 with the SCXI-1581 for RTD measurements.
National Instruments designs and manufactures all products to minimize failures, however unexpected failures can still occur. Extended warranties provide a fixed economical price at the time of system purchase, covering any repair costs for up to three years. In addition, they offer the following benefits:
Significant cost savings compared to individual repair incidents
Fault location, diagnostics, and repair by NI any time the system product fails
All parts and labor costs covered as well as any adjustments needed to restore the hardware to manufacturing specifications
NI recognizes the need to maintain properly calibrated devices for high-accuracy measurements. NI provides manual calibration procedures, services to recalibrate your products, and automated calibration software to calibrate many NI measurement products.
Return your registered product under warranty at no additional labor and parts cost. NI offers fault location, diagnostics, and repair any time the system fails as well as any adjustments needed to restore the hardware to manufacturing specifications.
