The National Instruments VXI-PXI801x and VME-PXI801x kits link a PXI system directly to a VXI or VME system, respectively, via the MXI-2 bus. With these kits, your PXI system can perform as though it were plugged directly into a VXI or VME backplane. By using a PXI system to control VXI or VME, you can build systems that exploit all the best features of each bus architecture. Kits contain a PXI MXI-2 interface (PXI-8320), a VXI MXI-2 interface (VXI-MXI-2), a MXI-2 cable, and software.
