The NI PCI-6533 incorporates the NI DAQ-DIO ASIC, a 32-bit general-purpose digital I/O interface specifically designed to deliver high performance on plug-in digital I/O boards. This device performs single-point I/O, pattern I/O, and high-speed data transfer using a wide range of handshaking protocols at speeds up to 76 MB/s.
