The National Instruments PCI-8431/2 is a high-performance, two-port serial interface for high-speed communication with RS485 or RS422 devices at rates of up to 3 Mb/s. High-performance RS485 and RS422 interfaces are available in two-, four-, and eight-port versions. The NI PCI-8431/2 offers flexible baud rates for data transmissions between 57 b/s and 3 Mb/s to within 1 percent accuracy for nonstandard baud rates and 0.01 percent accuracy for standard baud rates.
