NI FP-DIO-550

The National Instruments FP-DIO-550 is an 16-channel digital input/digital output module. It can measure eight digital inputs with a range of 11 to 30 VDC and source 8 outputs from 10 to 30 VDC with 250 mA per channel. The main benefit of this module is that it offers both digital input and digital output channels, effectively replacing two modules with one (DI + DO). This module provides 250 V CAT II safety isolation to backplane, and discrete sensor and actuator interfacing. This module also offers a user-selectable input filter to rejects noise, and has a range of 1 µs to 65 ms. Customers can also configure the module so that digital outputs turn on only when the states of digital input channels match specific patterns.
