A National Instruments USB-485/4 interface transforms your Universal Serial Bus (USB) port into four asynchronous ports for communication with RS485 or RS422 devices. The NI USB-485/4 interface is shipped with NI-Serial driver software for Windows 2000/XP. You can use the USB-485/4 ports as standard serial ports from your existing applications or with applications written with NI-VISA.
