The Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer Certification indicates a broad working knowledge of the LabVIEW environment, a basic understanding of coding and documentation best practices, and the ability to read and interpret existing code.

NI offers the Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer (CLAD) exam for both LabVIEW and LabVIEW NXG. When you register for your certification, you can select the LabVIEW environment of your choice for your exam, ensuring you are tested in the environment you use for development. There is no difference between the exam requirements, competencies and topics tested, or logos based on exam environment.

If you are already certified, you do not need to retake your exams in LabVIEW NXG. However, you are free to recertify with LabVIEW NXG.
