The PCI-DIO-96 is a 96-bit parallel digital I/O board for computers with PCI. This board uses four 24-bit programmable peripheral interfaces (PPIs). You can divide each PPI into three 8-bit ports. The PCI-DIO-96 is flexible for interfacing to peripherals or other computers. The board can operate in either a unidirectional or bidirectional mode and handshake with peripheral equipment.

Programmable input filters eliminate glitches/spikes and provide debouncing for digital switches/relays through a software-selectable digital filter. The NI-DAQmx software technology includes the DAQ assistant to create your application with no programming. NI-DAQmx makes it fast and easy to configure your device and take advantage of all the high reliability industrial features in LabVIEW, ANSI C, Microsoft Visual C++, or Microsoft .NET Languages (C# and Visual Basic .NET).
