You can quickly develop switch applications using the NI-SWITCH or NI-DAQmx switch application programming interfaces (APIs). The function classes are intuitively arranged based on the type of switch application you choose to program such as direct relay control, channel-based control, DIO control, or scanning.The robust NI-SWITCH and NI-DAQmx switch APIs also offer native driver interfaces for all of the common application development environments (ADEs) used for switch software development, such as LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, C/C++, and Visual Basic. Deterministic control of NI switch modules can also be programmed using the NI-DAQmx switch API and the LabVIEW Real-Time module. Fully functional shipping examples are provided from all of the switch applications mentioned previously and for the applicable ADEs.
