National Instruments 654x, 655x, and 656x digital waveform generator/analyzers rely on the power and ease of use of the NI-HSDIO driver software. This driver software includes a flexible API based on IVI guidelines, complete documentation of the supported hardware, a configuration and testing utility, and the National Instruments Script Editor. The Windows-compatible NI-HSDIO driver provides functions for NI LabVIEW 7 Express or later, NI LabWindows/CVI, C/C++, and other text-based development environments.
The NI Script Editor, included with NI-HSDIO, is a software tool to help you easily create and edit scripts. Once you load waveforms on an instrument’s onboard memory, you can use a script to control the order in which waveforms generate, the frequency of waveform generation, and the device response to script triggers.
