  • Note: There is only a limited supply of this board available
  • 20 MHz maximum clock rates for continuous pattern I/O or handshaking
  • 80 MB/s maximum transfer rate (8-, 16-, or 32-bit transfers)
  • 32 digital I/O lines (5 V TTL/CMOS)
  • 32 MB onboard memory per data path
  • Start/stop triggering, pattern matching, and change detection

Not recommended for new designs. For a comparable low-cost digital board with higher throughput and performance, consider the 25 MHz NI PCIe-6536B (up to 100 MB/s) or the 50 MHz NI PCIe-6537B (up to 200 MB/s).

The NI PCI-6534 is a high-speed, 32-bit, parallel digital I/O interface for PCI. It performs pattern I/O and high-speed data transfer using a wide range of handshaking protocols at speeds up to 80 MB/s through onboard memory. It features user-defined power-up states, start and stop triggering, pattern matching, and change detection. You can operate the 32 lines as individually configurable single-line I/O or as 8-, 16-, or 32-bit ports for pattern I/O and handshaking. The board comes bundled with NI-DAQmx driver software and Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) configuration software, so you can interactively configure your device and view test panels for interactive measurements.

Note: There is only a limited supply of this board available.

Since your device does not have direct signal connectivity, you need a connector block to act as an interface between your sensors/signals and your device. A connector block provides easy access to the inputs and outputs of your hardware.
You need a cable to transmit signals between your device and your signal connections on your connector block.
You need software to interface with your hardware and to collect, analyze, present, and store your measurements. This board is compatible with a variety of programming languages, including LabVIEW, C/C++, Visual Basic, and .NET. LabVIEW provides the easiest integration with all of your NI hardware and is recommended to maximize your hardware investment.
