The NI PCI-CAN/2 is a two-port, high-speed controller area network (CAN) interface designed for communicating with high-speed CAN devices up to 1 Mbit/s. NI PCI-CAN boards use the Philips SJA1000 CAN controller for advanced functionality such as listen-only, self-reception (echo), and advanced filtering modes and new transceivers for sleep/wakeup mode support. Each CAN interface is shipped with NI-CAN device driver software. You can synchronize CAN, data acquisition, vision, and motion devices using the RTSI bus. All National Instruments CAN interfaces are designed to meet the physical and electrical requirements for in-vehicle (automotive) networks based on CAN.
