The NI PCI-CAN is a one-port high-speed CAN interface designed for communicating with high-speed Controller Area Network (CAN) devices up to 1 Mb/s. PCI-CAN uses the Philips SJA1000 CAN controller for advanced functionality such as listen-only, self-reception (echo), and advanced filtering modes and new transceivers for sleep/wakeup mode support. Each CAN interface is shipped with NI-CAN device driver software. You can synchronize CAN, data acquisition, vision, and motion boards using the RTSI bus. All National Instruments CAN interfaces are designed to meet the physical and electrical requirements for in-vehicle (automotive) networks based on CAN.
