The NI PCI-CAN is a one-port, high-speed controller area network (CAN) interface designed for communicating with high-speed CAN devices up to 1 Mbit/s. NI PCI-CAN boards use the Philips SJA1000 CAN controller for advanced functionality such as listen-only, self-reception (echo), and advanced filtering modes and new transceivers for sleep/wakeup mode support. Each CAN interface is shipped with NI-CAN device driver software. You can synchronize CAN, data acquisition, vision, and motion devices using the RTSI bus.
