NI VME-PXI801x kits link any PXI system directly to the VMEbus (or B-size VXI) using the high-speed MXI-2 bus. A VME-PXI801x kit makes your PXI controller perform as though it were plugged directly into the VME backplane, giving it the capability of an embedded VME controller. By using a PXI system to control VME, you can build systems that take advantage of the best features of each bus architecture.
