National Instruments VXI-PXI801x kits link any PXI system directly to the VXIbus using a high-speed MXI-2 link. A PXI system thus equipped operates as though it were plugged directly into a VXI backplane, giving your external PXI system the capability of an embedded VXI computer. By using a PXI system to control VXI, you can build systems thattake advantage of the best features of each bus architecture.
