NI GPIB-140A Series |
The National Instruments GPIB extenders remove the restrictions on cable length and device loading imposed by the IEEE 488 standard while requiring virtually no desktop space. The IEEE 488 standard specifies that the total cable length for a GPIB system cannot exceed 20 m and the maximum number of devices is 15. A pair of NI GPIB-140A/2 devices can extend the cable length to 2 km without compromising the integrity of the GPIB or requiring any application modifications. NI GPIB-140A extenders offer cable lengths up to 1 km. These GPIB extenders, which also expand the number of devices from 15 to 26, use a buffered transfer technique to transfer data at the fastest rates in the industry, while keeping cabling costs to a minimum Additional Product Information
Extended WarrantiesNational Instruments designs and manufactures all products to minimize failures, but we know unexpected failures can still occur. Extended warranties provide a fixed economical price at the time of system purchase covering any repair costs for up to three years.
CalibrationNI recognizes the need to maintain properly calibrated devices for high-accuracy measurements. We provide manual calibration procedures, services to recalibrate your products, and automated calibration software to calibrate many of our measurement products. TrainingNI training is the fastest, most certain route to productivity with NI tools and successful application development.
