  • 800 kS/s per channel for one channel; 182 kS/s per channel for 8 channels
  • Slew rate limited to 10 kHz full-scale sine wave
  • Simultaneous update; onboard or external update clock
  • RTSI bus for synchronization with DAQ, motion, and vision products
  • NI-DAQmx driver with configuration utility to simplify configuration and measurements
  • Superior integration: LabVIEW, LabWindows™/CVI, and Measurement Studio for VB and VS .NET

The NI PCI-6722 delivers low-cost analog outputs to meet a wide range of application requirements. It provides eight analog output channels with speeds of 182 kS/s per channel, 13-bit resolution, and digital triggering. This board also features eight digital I/O and two 24-bit counter/timers. It uses the RTSI bus to synchronize with additional data acquisition, motion, and vision products, so you can create custom measurement solutions to test innovative designs. The PCI-6722 is ideal for applications such as stimulus-response, signal simulation, waveform generation, and actuator stimulation. It works with NI Analog Waveform Editor software to help you create complex waveforms. You can create new waveforms using the more than 20 built-in waveform primitives or formula/equation entry features of this software.

Since your device does not have direct signal connectivity, you need a connector block to act as an interface between your sensors/signals and your device. A connector block provides easy access to the inputs and outputs of your hardware.
You need a cable to transmit signals between your device and your signal connections on your connector block.
You need software to interface with your hardware and to collect, analyze, present, and store your measurements. This board is compatible with a variety of programming languages, including LabVIEW, C/C++, Visual Basic, and .NET. LabVIEW provides the easiest integration with all of your NI hardware and is recommended to maximize your hardware investment.
