FieldPoint offers combination analog input/analog output modules to accurately interface with sensors and actuators. With built-in signal conditioning, you can connect directly to voltage or current sensors and to current loop actuators. The modules provide a power distribution bridge to make connecting with 2-wire current loop actuators easy. The modules feature 2,300 Vrms transient isolation between the output channels and the backplane. To make installation and setup easier, FieldPoint combination analog I/O modules feature, HotPnP (plug and play) operation and will be automatically detected and identified by the configuration software. Software development is also simplified because, with autoscaling, the modules can be read from and written to in engineering units instead of converting to binary numbers. The module comes with a NIST-traceable calibration certificate ensuring accurate and reliable analog control.
