Please select the country where you will use the product(s) so that we can provide you with accurate pricing, availability, and purchasing information The National Instruments cFP-QUAD-510 accepts up to four channels of single-ended or differential quadrature encoder inputs. You can use the NI cFP-QUAD-510 to measure position and velocity in both forward and reverse directions, and it features a 250 kHz lowpass filter on all input channels to eliminate false counts due to high frequency transients. The cFP-QUAD-510 connects to either single-ended TTL or differential line signals. In addition, the cFP-QUAD-510 has an internal timebase to automatically determining the velocity for each of the four axis. If you supply external 8 to 30 VDC power, the module will generate regulated 5 VDC for encoders. To make installation and setup easier the cFP-QUAD-510 is hot swappable and will be automatically detected and identified by the configuration software. For accurate position measurement, we recommend that you use this module with LabVIEW Real-Time controllers (NI cFP-20xx). Additional Product Information
