An NI USB-232 interface transforms your USB port into a single asynchronous port for communication with RS232 devices. The USB-232 is shipped with NI-Serial driver software for Windows 7(32-bit and 64-bit)/Vista/XP/Server 2003 R2 (32-bit)/Server 2008 R2 (64-bit). You can use a USB-232 port as a standard serial port from your applications or with applications written with NI-VISA.
