Using the National Instrument external RS232 and RS485 serial interfaces, you can add up to four RS232 or RS485 serial ports to a system for controlling serial instruments using an Ethernet-based TCP/IP network or USB. The NI-VISA driver is included for easy development. Easily prototype your instrument control application and communicate directly with your Instrument without programming using the Instrument I/O Assistant in LabVIEW.
