Important note: For new designs, National Instruments recommends CompactRIO hardware (see Resources tab).
Using the NI LabVIEW Real-Time Module, you can develop powerful data-logging, control, and measurement systems on your PC and easily embed your application on the NI FP-2015 intelligent controller to achieve reliable distributed or stand-alone deployment. You can embed all the intelligence, advanced control, and analysis capabilities of LabVIEW in a small modular package suitable for industrial environments. The FP-2015 features expanded nonvolatile storage and DRAM memory for larger and more advanced applications. Engineers and scientists typically use the FP-20xx and cFP-2xxx controllers in applications requiring industrial-grade reliability - such as stand-alone data-logging, analog process, and discrete control systems - to run PID control loops; actuate valves and motors; take measurements; perform real-time analysis and simulation; log data; and communicate over serial, phone, and Ethernet. Once deployed, the controller can communicate peer to peer with other FP-20xx or cFP-2xxx intelligent controllers, or with unintelligent network interfaces such as FP-16xx and cFP-180x modules. In addition, the FP-2015 interface automatically publishes I/O measurements to a Windows computer running NI FieldPoint Explorer, LabVIEW, the LabVIEW Datalogging and Supervisory Control Module, LabWindows™/CVI, Lookout, or your choice of OLE for process control (OPC) client application software. It also easily integrates with legacy or programmable logic controller (PLC) systems.

National Instruments designs and manufactures all products to minimize failures, however unexpected failures can still occur. Extended warranties provide a fixed economical price at the time of system purchase, covering any repair costs for up to three years. In addition, they offer the following benefits:
Significant cost savings compared to individual repair incidents
Fault location, diagnostics, and repair by NI any time the system product fails
All parts and labor costs covered as well as any adjustments needed to restore the hardware to manufacturing specifications
NI recognizes the need to maintain properly calibrated devices for high-accuracy measurements. NI provides manual calibration procedures, services to recalibrate your products, and automated calibration software to calibrate many NI measurement products.
Return your registered product under warranty at no additional labor and parts cost. NI offers fault location, diagnostics, and repair any time the system fails as well as any adjustments needed to restore the hardware to manufacturing specifications.
