The NI FP-DI-300 module features eight sinking digital input channels, each of which is compatible with 24 VDC signals. Each channel also has an LED to indicate the channel on/off state. The module features 2,300 Vrms transient isolation between the output channels and the backplane. You can use these digital input modules to sense the state of a variety of discrete devices - proximity and limit switches, push-button switches, thermostat outputs, relays, and power circuits. To make installation and setup easier, the FP-DI-300 features HotPnP (plug-and-play) operation, so it is automatically detected and identified by the configuration software.
