The National Instruments FP-DO-403 module features 16 sinking digital output channels. Each channel is compatible with voltages from 5 to 30 VDC and can source up to 2 A per channel with a maximum of 16 A squared per module. (The sum of the squares of the output currents from all 16 channels must be no greater than 16.) Each channel has an LED to indicate the channel on/off state. The module features 2300 V transient isolation between the output channels and the backplane. To make installation and setup easier the NI FP-DO-403 features HotPnP (plug and play) operation and is automatically detected and identified by the configuration software.
