National Instruments Vision Builder for Automated Inspection (AI) is a configurable development environment for building, benchmarking, and deploying complete machine vision applications without programming. You can use the built-in deployment interface to quickly deploy your inspection, guidance, and identification applications. With this software, you can also set up complex pass/fail decisions and communicate inspection results over digital I/O, serial, or Ethernet protocols. Vision Builder AI includes NI Vision Acquisition software, a set of drivers and utilities that acquire, display, and save images from any NI frame grabber, NI Smart Camera, GigE Vision camera, or IEEE 1394 camera.

Vision Builder AI includes one year of membership in the Standard Service Program (SSP) to help you make the most of your software investment. With an SSP membership, you can capitalize on the latest technology improvements through automatic software updates and maintenance releases and reduce your application development time with direct access to technical support from NI applications engineers via phone and e-mail. You also have access to special online, on-demand software training modules to learn more about features, application uses, and development best practices.

In addition, you can purchase Vision Builder AI through NI Developer Suite, a modular product offering with which you can select software components based on your application needs. With an NI Developer Suite subscription, you receive a new set of CDs with the most recent software version for each product in the suite four times a year as well as direct access to technical support from NI applications engineers via phone and e-mail.
