NI cFP-PWM-5208-Channel Pulse Width Modulation Output Module for Compact FieldPoint |
The National Instruments cFP-PWM-520 is a pulse width modulation output module that includes eight PWM output channels with independently programmable duty cycles for PWM-based control applications. The NI cFP-PWM-520 can be used to perform analog control for digital devices such as DC motors, heaters, and lights. By varying the duty cycle of the voltage output the module provides full voltage to the device but reduces the power output. This feature is ideal for DC powered devices where varying the voltage is either not feasible or not recommended.
