Please select the country where you will use the product(s) so that we can provide you with accurate pricing, availability, and purchasing information The National Instruments cFP-CTR-500 is a versatile eight-channel counter module for high-speed counter applications with input signals up to 50 kHz and frequency measurements using the internal frequency reference or external gate inputs. All NI cFP-CTR-500 inputs and outputs are compatible with 12 or 24 VDC signals. The module includes eight sinking inputs with 16-bit counter registers, complemented by four sinking gate inputs and four sourcing counter outputs, which you can configure to operate in a number of different modes. You can cascade two or more counter channels together to create higher-bit counter registers, up to a single 128-bit counter register with all eight cascaded. You can configure each channel to use one of the four gate inputs, and you can either use the four sourcing counter outputs as general-purpose outputs or configure them to change states when the counter register exceeds a set limit.
