Digital Specialty

Compact FieldPoint offers a variety of digital specialty modules to control and monitor industrial digital signals. These modules can perform high-speed counting, pulse width modulation control and pulse train generation. With built-in signal conditioning you can easily connect to low and high-voltage sinking and sourcing inputs as well as low and high-voltage AC signals. The modules all feature 2,300 Vrms transient overvoltage protection between the input channels and the backplane. You can use these digital modules to control and monitor the state of a variety of devices, proximity sensors, motors, heaters, and solid state relays. To make installation and setup easier the Compact FieldPoint digital modules feature HotPnP (plug and play) operation so they are automatically detected and identified by the configuration software.
