Compact FieldPoint offers a variety of analog input to accurately measure analog sensors. With built-in signal conditioning you can connect directly to high-voltage, milliamp, and low-voltage signals, thermocouples, RTDs, and bridge circuits (such as strain gauges). All modules provide a power distribution bridge to make it easy to work with 2-wire current-loop sensors. The modules all feature 2,300 Vrms transient overvoltage protection between the input channels and the backplane. To make installation and setup easier, the Compact FieldPoint analog input modules feature HotPnP (plug and play) operation so they are automatically detected and identified by the configuration software. Software development is also simplified because, with autoscaling, you can read from and write to the modules in engineering units instead of having to convert the current levels to binary numbers. The modules come with NIST-traceable calibration certificates to ensure accurate and reliable analog measurements.
