This device maps the pinout of the NI PCI-6025E to the pinout of the legacy NI PCI-1200. You can easily upgrade your existing PCI-1200 system to the E Series PCI-6025E. There are two important points to remember when upgrading. First, the inputs and outputs of general purpose counter 0 (GPCTR0) are routed to the previous pins for both counter 0 and 2 on the PCI-1200 connector. Second, if your application is to work the same, the port numbers you are addressing will need to be changed from 0, 1, and 2 to 2, 3, and 4, respectively.
