With the National Instruments CAN (Controller Area Network) interfaces, you can use your PC to make automated measurements in automotive, medical, and embedded applications. Our CAN bus interfaces comply fully with the physical and electrical specifications outlined in ISO 11898. NI CAN interfaces for PXI integrate with data acquisition, image acquisition, and motion control modules across a real-time platform using LabVIEW Real-Time. The high-level application programming interface (API) makes development easy for synchronization or basic network communication. The new NI CAN Series 2 interfaces take advantage of the Philips SJA1000 CAN Controller for advanced functionality. Analog or digital I/O can be added to the CAN bus network easily with the FieldPoint interface module.
