The NI PXI-6602 and NI PXI-6608 are timing and digital I/O modules offering eight 32-bit counter/timers and 32 lines of TTL/CMOS-compatible digital I/O. The NI PXI-6608 features a 10 MHz oven-controlled crystal oscillator for high-stability. You can perform a wide variety of counter/timer tasks including event counting, period measurement, pulse-width measurement, pulse generation, pulse-train generation, encoder position measurement, and frequency measurement.
