The FP-CTR-500 and FP-CTR-502 are versatile 8-channel counter modules for the FieldPoint I/O system. Each module includes eight 16-bit counters, complimented by four gate inputs and four outputs, that you can configure to operate in a number of different modes. The FP-CTR-500 works with 10 to 30 VDC sourcing devices, while the FP-CTR-502 works with 5 to 30 VDC sinking devices, including TTL and CMOS. The FP-QUAD-510 accepts up to four channels of single-ended or differential quadrature encoder inputs. Use the FP-QUAD-510 quadrature encoder module to measure position and velocity in both forward and reverse directions with a maximum frequency of 1 MHz on all four channels.
