The National Instruments FP-3000 is a network interface module for the FieldPoint distributed I/O system. Each NI FP-3000 can connect a node of up to nine FieldPoint I/O modules to a FOUNDATION fieldbus network. FieldPoint consists of analog input, analog output, digital input, digital output, relay, RTD, and thermocouple modules. Configuration software detects devices when they are connected to FOUNDATION fieldbus.
