MXI-2 interface kits offer block-transfer performance comparable to embedded controllers with the additional flexibility and expandability of a desktop PC or workstation. High-speed MXI-2 interfaces link any PXI system or PCI-based computer to a VXI or VME system for control. MXI-2 is easily expandable for several mainframes using daisy chains for multidrop cables.
