24-Bit, 102.4 kS/s Sound and Vibration Measurements

24-Bit, 102.4 kS/s Sound and Vibration Measurements
  • 24-bit resolution sigma-delta ADCs with 110 dB dynamic range
  • Simultaneous-sampling and antialiasing protection
  • 102.4 kS/s maximum sampling rate
  • Software-selectable AC/DC coupling and IEPE conditioning
  • 4- and 8-channel analog input devices
  • Synchronization of up to 5,000 channels in a PXI system

National Instruments 447x 24-bit dynamic signal acquisition (DSA) devices for PCI and PXI are designed for high-accuracy time- and frequency-domain measurements. With both four-input and eight-input configurations, the devices are ideal for sound and vibration applications including audio test; noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) analysis; machine condition monitoring; and structural test. You can synchronize NI 447x devices across multidevice systems for a total of more than 5,000 channels of measurements.

Multidevice Synchronization
For applications requiring up to thousands of channels, you can synchronize the operation of two or more NI 447x devices with less than 0.1 deg of phase mismatch between channels.

Recommended Software
NI sound and vibration analysis software, including the NI Sound and Vibration Measurement Suite and the NI Sound and Vibration Toolkit, provides signal processing functionality for performing audio measurements, fractional-octave analysis, frequency analysis, transient analysis, and order tracking. NI analysis software features NI Sound and Vibration Assistant interactive software for quickly acquiring, analyzing, and logging acoustic, noise, and vibration data. With a configuration-based, flexible measurement library and open-analysis capability, Sound and Vibration Assistant is designed for quick data capture through a unique software-based measurement approach to create customized applications.
