Compact FieldPoint offers a variety of digital input modules to monitor industrial digital inputs. With built-in signal conditioning you can easily connect to low and high-voltage sinking and sourcing inputs as well as low and high-voltage AC signals. Each channel has an LED to indicate the channel on/off state. The modules all feature 2300 V transient isolation between the input channels and the backplane. You can use these discrete input modules to sense the state of a variety of discrete devices -- proximity and limit switches, push-button switches, thermostat outputs, relays and power circuits. To make installation and setup easier, Compact FieldPoint digital input modules feature HotPnP (plug and play) operation and are automatically detected and identified by configuration software.
