DASYLab Version 10.0, released in December 2007, features an updated user interface, improved online help, an interactive tutorial, and more than 150 examples to help you accelerate the setup and development of data acquisition, process monitoring, data logging and display, process control, data analysis, and reporting applications.
To make it even easier to configure your applications, the DASYLab 10.0 workspace now features modern module icons and graphics and includes module browsing and dynamic information areas. Module browsing provides various views of all the available function modules and stored black boxes, as well as the modules in the current block diagram. Use the new status console to check a program’s running status and the dynamic data display. With the Signal Spy component of the status console, you can monitor the data as it flows between modules on the block diagram. You can view both data descriptions and an oscilloscope diagram of the signal. The wide range of DASYLab measurement and control hardware drivers now works with National Instruments M Series and Measurement Computing data acquisition, as well as IXXAT CAN boards.
From research and analysis to large-scale production and quality control, use DASYLab to quickly create flexible and powerful monitoring and control applications without programming. With DASYLab, you can rapidly acquire data from the most popular multifunction data acquisitions devices as well as industry-standard OPC-compliant devices, including PLCs and other industrial automation controllers and sensors. In addition, RS232 and IEEE 488 (GPIB) modules provide connectivity to instruments from hundreds of vendors. DASYLab 10.0 works with the latest Windows OSs, including Windows Vista, XP, and 2000.
