SCXIbus System Specification
This specification describes the physical, electrical, and timing requirements for the SCXIbus. The system objectives of the SCXIbus specification are as follows: • To specify the system characteristics that allow a module to control other modules or be controlled via the serial bus • To specify the electrical and mechanical system characteristics required to design modules that will operate in the SCXIbus system The Physical Requirements section describes the physical dimensions of an SCXI module, the positioning of the metral SCXIbus connector, and cooling information.
