What Is the Maximum Number of Devices and I/O Connections That NI-DNET Can Support? When I run my NI-DNET application I get error NC_ERR_RSRC_LIMITS, which states that my application has exceeded the internal NI-DNET resource limits. The solution is to reduce the number of devices or I/O connections used, or reduce the InputLength or OutputLength used for a given I/O object. The master doesn't adjust it's EPR based on device's response. According to Dnet Spec, the master is supposed to set its watchdog timer's based on the EPR value returned from the slave, but currently the nidnet master uses the EPR value that the user has set for the device instead of adjusting to the new one.
