Although the DAQPad-6020E can be configured for SCXI, USB is much slower bus, and it is not a recommended configuration. Parallel port DAQPads such as the DAQPad-1200 and the DAQPad-MIO-16XE-50 do not support SCXI.

AT-MIO-16E-10 Causes Floppy Drive Failure at Boot-Up When Plugged into Machine
My Dell Dimension is having trouble with a National Instruments AT-MIO-16E-10 DAQ board. When placed in the computer, it consistently gets a floppy drive controller failure. The floppy drive is configured for DMA 2: IRQ 6: address 3F0-3F7. If the E-10 board is removed, the problem goes away.
