My Laptop is Reading a Floating Voltage from a Grounded Source in Differential Mode
I am reading a floating signal when measuring in differential mode on my laptop. When I plug in my network cable, the problem seems to go away, but plugging my laptop into the power outlet does not solve the problem. What can I do about this problem?

Incorrect Analog Input Readings When Using a DAQCard Windows NT
I am using a DAQCard-500, 516, or 700 on Windows NT. The analog input readings differ significantly from the applied voltage. Also, when I open the Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX), the Serial Number for the card shows up as '0'.

Why Does the Counter Source Sink 120mA When the Computer is Powered Off?
I have an E Series MIO device with a TTL signal connected to the counter's SOURCE input. When I switch off the computer, I measure a sink current of approximately 120mA on the source of the counter. When I disconnect the power cable to the PC, I do not have this problem. How can I limit this

NI DAQCard-1200 Icon Does Not Appear on PowerBook 5300 Desktop
I am using a DAQCard-1200 in a PowerBook 5300, and the DAQCard icon does not appear on the desktop. However it does appear in the NI-DAQ Control Panel.

Why Does My Floppy Drive Light Turn On when Reading from Channel 16?
I am running NI-DAQ 4.9.0 on a Windows 95 machine. When I read from Channel 16 on the AT-MIO-64E-3, the floppy drive light turns on. Reading from other AI channels does not cause this problem. Why is the light on when I access Channel 16?

After Power Cycling the DAQPad-1200 with LabVIEW Open, I Get Bad Data when I Run a VI
If I power cycle my DAQPad-1200 while LabVIEW is open, then I get bad data when I subsequently run my VI. I have to exit LabVIEW and re-run the configuration utility in order to reset the parallel port. Then I can reopen LabVIEW and get good data. How can I avoid this?

Dell Computer with E-Series Board Disables the Floppy Drive
I have an AT-MIO-16E-10 board with NI-DAQ 5.0 and Windows NT 4.0 on a Dell Pentium Pro 200 computer with latest BIOS. The PnP BIOS was giving away resources already assigned to the floppy controller, disabling the floppy (A:) drive.
